who replaced Michael Hutchence?
American fixation with reality shows may sometimes seem absurd, hypocritical and way overrated, but on this one, at least they entertained - hence the case of ROCK STAR: INXS.
With the excuse of casting the would-be "replacement?" of Michael Hutchence, american broadcast network CBS launched this reality search: For the one. (really guys, did u see this? the only reason of my comment on the above is that up until two seconds ago I didnt know thats how a rock star was made so I did a lil research and got myself updated with past episodes... this is what i saw...)
How did canadian born rocker (former elvis impersonator, veggie lover and martial arts instructor) J.D. became the new member of the aussie legendary band? After tons of auditions and a televised competition a search was launched to find the cinderella man. A bunch of strange characters made it to the first cut (including a couple of ladies. and thats literally) the race begun. After some lousy performers, tears, claps, laughter, sweat, defeat, struggle, discipline and more tears two went on to fight "the final round". On the final episode, the would be winner J.D. sang a cover of the Stones “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” and guess what mates... he did. (lucky, lucky bastard!)
So now that the new king has been "unveiled" (he must praise, wake up and thank his lucky stars for winning that bloody show) the band is touring all round the globe and is performing home on Sept. Hope one of u will comment on sophomore J.D's performance... (missus pill)
