Hey u all.. just wanted to comment on a sad note... i've been calling london my home for a while, but love every chance i get of a lil doze of ozland back here so last week when i heard the cat empire was jammin on a local pub i was thrilled. As soon as i finished reading the article i had already planned on playing it sick the next day and skipping work so i could get the feeling of the cats all night... i hadnt even finished with my fantasies when i went online to book a ticket and learnt that both dates of the concert were sold out, and so i was left with a sloppy face of dissapointment and the 'what i should have worn' sketch on my head... couple of minutes later though, i reacted and felt proud to know that such a swell band as the cats are doing so well in such an overated (overcrowded, and overpopulated)cities of the world. good on u mates! (what do u all think?)
bottom line is i didnt get to go but i spent the night dancin to their rhythm...
"The rhythm's been running through my veins
In my thoughts in my eyes
In my head it's insane
It's the thing that does drive me
To scream "
